What’s protected
Every backup captures the things that break — with the details that matter, like variants, metafields, sales-channel visibility, and the order you arranged your collections in.
Everything here is backed up, verified and in your download. File contents are copied on paid plans. Blogs, menus, files and discounts can't be restored automatically yet.
Themes restore as a new, unpublished theme you preview and publish yourself — your live theme is never overwritten.
How it works
Open Savepoint in your admin once. That first open starts protection; installing alone does not. Your first backup starts within minutes (a large catalog takes a few hours the first time), then backups run nightly. Over 500 products on the free plan they run weekly instead, so we can keep that plan free. Nothing stops and nothing is deleted. Paid plans add an hourly checkpoint whenever your store changes.
A bad CSV import, a deleted product, a theme edit gone wrong. Savepoint already has a clean, verified copy from before it happened.
